Food Safety Systems Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000) is a solid certification system based on ISO standards and internationally accepted for auditing and certifying of food safety throughout the supply chain.
The rules of FSSC 22000 uses the existing standards IS0 22000, ISO 22002 and technical specifications of the PPR in the sector, which were developed through a broad and open consultation with a large number of related organizations.
Manufacturers certified with ISO 22000 can obtain full FSSC 22000 certification accepted by GFSI by meeting the requirements of the technical specifications of the sector’s PPR and additional system requirements.
